An attractive wine with a lot of charm
.St. Magdalener from Pfannenstielhof is a fresh, fruity, pleasant and very accessible wine that is nevertheless complex, juicy, full-bodied and delicately spicy.
It is appreciated as a traditional and at the same time modern wine and as a local speciality, a sociable and digestible food companion.
"St. Magdalener goes well with both traditional and upscale cuisine and is a good companion in convivial gatherings; precisely for this reason it has a regular place in our everyday life."
Our soils are unique - so are our wines
.St. Magdalener grows in the classic St. Magdalener growing area on well-aerated, heat-retaining moraine debris soils of porphyry and dolomite material. The Vernatsch grapes grow as a mixed set with about 5% Lagrein traditionally on Pergeln and are harvested and fermented together.
"We are particularly connected to the soils on which our vines grow and want to make the best of them - guided by our hands."
