Geiger & Söhne Bachus Mundfein | semi-dry | Franconian wine
Delicately fruity - light and fresh - A Franconian Bacchus for every occasion.
Thanks to its freshness, the charming Franconian Bacchus from the Geiger & Söhne winery always exudes a hint of summer. It presents itself in an elegant, light greenish-yellow colour with light golden reflections and an appealing play of colours in the glass. On the tongue, the flavours of juicy Golden Delicious apples and crisp, tart gooseberries come together.
The emerging aromatic complex becomes particularly intense and multi-layered with the gradually emerging hints of grassy notes and the unexpected and unusual aroma of savory. A fresh and fruity white wine experience that is extremely charming and ultimately presents a finely tuned, slightly sweet overall picture. This is a delicious and at the same time exceptional semi-dry Franconian wine whose fine facets are also to be discovered by wine connoisseurs!

Bacchus - the Franconian wine speciality.
As the cultivation of Bacchus is a challenge for every vineyard and every winegrower, this grape variety with its extraordinary potential is rather neglected in many wine-growing regions of Germany. The cultivation of this demanding white wine involves too many risks that stand in the way of harvesting tasty grapes. However, this juicy, aromatic grape variety matures ideally in our muchelkalkhaltigen vineyards in Thüngersheim/Franken and thus produces excellent Franconian wines, which have already been able to assert themselves against the white wine competition in many a competition. Thanks to the fully developed aroma spectrum and the potential for the development of diverse attributes typical of Bacchus, the Geiger und Söhne Frankenwein variations have long been classics on the wine shelf. As the semi-dry Bacchus of our mundfein series, this delicious white wine not only combines the character traits of its relatives Silvaner, Riesling and Müller-Thurgau, but also presents its very own aromas.
- Bacchus combines aromatic traits of its grape variety relatives and adds flavours of its own
- ideal formation of aromatics in Franconia
- aromatic grape variety
