Pinot Blanc "In der Lamm" | Weingut Abraham | Eppan | South Tyrol
Dry South Tyrolean Pinot Blanc with a light creaminess and finesse
.The South Tyrolean Pinot Blanc "In der Läamm" comes from the vineyards of the Abraham winery in Girlan/Eppan. The vines planted here around 1958-1962 produce particularly small grapes in a wide range of varieties and colours.
In the semi-shade of the Pergl, an elegant, complex fruit develops, which carries the origin of this special site.
The deep-rooted vines do not need artificial irrigation and transport diverse mineral taste components that make this white wine from Weingut Abraham in South Tyrol unique.
Marlies and Martin Abraham feel a special bond with this vineyard because their grandfather Johann and father Karl Abraham already contributed their knowledge and passion here.
The young winegrowers, who have been vinifying their own wines since 2011, are trying to respectfully develop and reinterpret this heritage, also by selecting their own seedlings from the old vines. Through the best possible preservation of this single vineyard site and intensive care, an expressive, characterful and independent terroir wine is created here.
This is how the winemaking couple from Eppan on the South Tyrolean Wine Road wants to show that a Pinot Blanc from the wine-growing region of Eppan and Girlan has the potential to be one of the greats.
