This excellent Riesling thrives on the vineyard slopes of the two top sites Friedstein and Kapitelberg. The red granite that predominates here forms a unique basis for this excellent Riesling from Saxony, which is probably only found here.

Winegrower Martin Schwarz has united the vines of both top sites in his Riesling Red Granite and pressed them to an expressive Riesling. In this way, this Riesling reflects our unique terroir here in the Elbe Valley, as the winegrower says.

Through the combination of the two top sites Friedstein and Kapitelberg, the Saxon Riesling Red Granite 2018 also inspires demanding Riesling lovers.

The wine appears slender at first, but then develops enormous power in the mouth for a long finish. Its fresh, exotic notes of Friedstein paired with the minerality of Kapitelberg bring tension and make your palate come alive. The petroleum note on the palate, which is typical for a first-class Riesling, is particularly pleasing, as it is actually only known from a Rheingau Riesling. In short: this Riesling is an absolute recommendation and super delicious.
