Chardonnay Römerberg 2018 | Weingut Daniel Plos | Sooss - Thermenregion
The Römerberg (formerly Soosserberg) is located southwest of Vienna between Sooss and Baden above the Weinbergstrasse. Here, at the northern end of the Thermenregion, surrounded by forest, the vines for the Chardonnay Römerberg from the Daniel Plos winery grow on calcareous soil.
A Burgundy that reflects the cool influence of the forest. Longer ageing on the fine yeast and careful storage in large wooden barrels give this Chardonnay a considerable ageing potential.
