Brigl Blauburgunder (Pinot Noir) 2018 is a full-bodied red wine with a high tannin content and an intense, ethereal smell of wild berries. This red wine tastes excellent with strong meat dishes, game and piquant hard cheese.
CLASSIFICATION: DOP - Denominazione di Origine Controllata
VINIFICATIONS: Pinot Noir
WINEYARD and LOCATION: Haselhof Winery in Schreckbichl (500m) near Girlan. Calcareous, sandy loam soils.
VINIFICATION and ADMINISTRATION: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 8-10 days at controlled temperature (22-25°C). After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in large oak barrels and in bottle.
CHARACTERISTICS: Pinot Noir is a ruby to garnet red wine with a high tannin content, an intense, ethereal aroma of wild berries and a persistent, full-bodied taste.
SERVED TEMPERATURE: 16 - 18° C
