Riesling Friedstein 2017 | Winery Martin Schwarz, Meissen, Saxony
The Riesling Friedstein 2017 from Weingut Schwarz in Meissen is a first-class, dry Saxon white wine with refinement. It brings everything that distinguishes a racy Riesling. In the glass, Schwarz Riesling Friedstein 2017 delights the eye with its straw-yellow colour and silvery reflections.
This excellent Riesling thrives in the top Friedstein site. The Radebeul Friedstein vineyard was left fallow for almost 85 years. In 2008, the vineyard was painstakingly cleared of forest and thus newly planted. During the restoration of the vineyard, new dry stone walls were built with great effort. Thus a unique vineyard was created, on which the Riesling grape variety can reach its full potential.
Winegrower Martin Schwarz has succeeded in creating a multi-layered, expressive Riesling with his Riesling Friedstein. The Riesling reflects the terroir of the Radebeul Friedstein in a unique way.
Sensorship
The Riesling Friedstein reveals a great balance of aromas. Exotic fruits and the existing minerality of the red granite are immediately noticeable in the nose. In the mouth there is an animating petroleum note and its acidity accompanies the palate, animating the drinking flow for another glass. Simply a great Riesling that more than lives up to its price. You will love this Riesling like we do!
